Cold Brew Guide

Cold Brew Guide

Cold brew is smooth, low-acid, and incredibly refreshing — and it’s easier to make at home than you think. Our TrustPure Cold Brew coffee is the perfect starting point.

What You’ll Need

  • TrustPure Cold Brew Coffee (coarsely ground)
  • A large jar or pitcher
  • A fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
  • Cold or room-temperature filtered water

Basic Cold Brew Recipe

  1. Measure: Use a 1:4 ratio — 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee to 4 cups of cold water (adjust to taste)
  2. Combine: Add coffee grounds to your jar, pour water over them, and stir gently
  3. Steep: Cover and refrigerate for 12–24 hours (longer = stronger)
  4. Strain: Pour through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean container
  5. Serve: Dilute with water or milk to taste, pour over ice, and enjoy!

Tips for the Best Cold Brew

  • Use coarse grounds to avoid a bitter, over-extracted brew
  • Filtered water makes a noticeable difference in flavor
  • Cold brew concentrate keeps in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
  • Try it with oat milk and a splash of vanilla for a café-style treat
