Brewing Guide
Great coffee starts with great beans — but the right brew method makes all the difference. Here’s how to get the best cup from your TrustPure Coffee.
Drip Coffee Maker
- Ratio: 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 oz of water
- Grind: Medium
- Water temp: 195–205°F (just off boil)
- Tip: Use filtered water for the cleanest flavor
French Press
- Ratio: 1 tablespoon per 4 oz of water
- Grind: Coarse
- Steep time: 4 minutes
- Tip: Press slowly and pour immediately to avoid over-extraction
Pour Over
- Ratio: 1:15 coffee to water by weight
- Grind: Medium-fine
- Bloom: Pour twice the weight of coffee in water, wait 30 seconds, then continue pouring
- Tip: Pour in slow, steady circles for even extraction
Espresso
- Ratio: 1:2 (18g coffee yields ~36g espresso)
- Grind: Fine
- Extraction time: 25–30 seconds
- Tip: Our medium roasts pull beautifully as espresso with a smooth, balanced shot
